This month's Degustabox is absolutely jam-packed with products. As with every Degustabox review that I do, I have a fantastic and exclusive discount code for you to use to take a massive £6 off the £12.99 price tag. All you have to do is enter the code BLDEG15 when you register.
So what exactly does the April box comprise of, well let's see;
If you know me or an avid reader of my Degustabox reviews, then you will know just how much I love to snack. I've never been a fan of eating three big meals a day so I'm all about eating little and often, particularly as someone who suffers from IBS and tummy troubles.
You can never go wrong with receiving chocolate of some kind in your Degustabox. I used to love Milkybar when I was younger so I can't wait to give the new crunchy version a try and the Smarties sharing block has already been devoured. I was really intrigued to see the Bebeto fruit strings appear in this month's box. Again, like Milkybars, fruit roll-ups and strawberry laces were a permanent fixture in my lunch box when I was at primary school. Unlike the ones that I used to take with me to school, these have a lot less sugar and are suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians too, which isn't something that can always be said for similar sweets. There's a week's supply in this pack which is brilliant if you're looking for a great little snack to take with you to school or work.
I'm a big Popchips fan as they're certainly healthier than the crisps that I tend to reach for, so I was really pleased to see this limited edition flavour in the April box. They went down particularly well on a recent movie night.
There were two Parle products in last month's Degustabox and as I enjoyed both I was more than happy to find another two Parle treats in this month's box. Both were brilliant with a big cup of tea and incredibly tasty.
I first tried Veetee rice thanks to last year's April Degustabox and it's been a brand of rice that I've purchased ever since. As a result, I've had the basmati rice on more than a few occasions in the past year but I'd never tried the wholegrain brown rice and quinoa. As I'm not the biggest brown rice fan I had my brother put this particular flavour to the test and he has given it a big thumbs up. He's certainly the healthiest in our family and he was over the moon to see such a flavour that could be made in two minutes. And when it comes to Levi Roots' range of products, we as a family tend to pick up something from it every time that we go food shopping. I'm also someone who only eats chicken when it comes to meat so I'm always looking for new ways to cook or flavour it and that's where Levi's range really does come in handy.
Canderel's Sugarly is brilliant for those of us who prefer to replace traditional sugar with sweeteners. This looks and tastes just like sugar but has no calories and must be a lot better for your teeth than normal sugar as well. And if you've got a sweet tooth, like I do, then there are some great sweet drinks in the April box. The Thor dry apple spritzes are sparkling apple drinks and I think that these would be perfect as an alternative to cider on a warm Spring or Summer's day.
I personally dislike tea so the Green Lady sparkling tea has not been put to the test just yet but it looks like a pretty interesting concept if you are in fact a tea drinker. And last but not least we have the Rejuvenation water. It seems to be quite a common theme for waters to appear in the Degustaboxes, all with a different take on flavour or formulation and this one is enriched with amino acids. As amino acids are something which help to boost the immune system and fight off stress and anxiety, I'm certainly happy to give them a try instead of normal drinking water.
Overall, I'm really happy with this month's box. It's always great when there's a real mix of products and that's exactly what we have in the April box. There's snacks, sweet treats, meal accompaniments and unique and interesting drinks. All in all, a great box.
What do you think of this month's box? Have you tried any of the products featured in April's box before? If so, what do you think of them?
