It's that time of the month again where I share my thoughts on this month's Degustabox. As with every Degustabox review that I do, I have a fantastic and exclusive discount code for you to use to take a massive £6 off (in previous months it had been £3 off) the £12.99 price tag. All you have to do is enter the code BLDEG15 when you register.
So what exactly does the November box comprise of, well let's see;
I do have a bit of a confession to make, for the first time in the history of my Degustabox reviews I ate something or should I say two things before taking the photographs for this very blog post. In addition to everything included in the November box there were also two fantastic bags of Butterkist popcorn. That fantastic, that I couldn't resist opening and devouring them as soon as I opened the box. The thing about taking blog photographs in the Winter months is, it can be days or even weeks before the lighting is good enough to get snapping and I couldn't bear the thought of waiting that long to enjoy some tasty popcorn treats. And whilst they've not been photographed, I can confirm that both bags (there was a Salted Caramel and a Sweet & Salted bag included) were absolutely fantastic. So if you think that there's a whole lot included in this month's box just based on my photographs, there was even more.
But back to products that made it into the photographs. This is honestly one of the most impressive Degustaboxes that I've received of late and the timing is perfect for the lead up to the festive period.
There really is a fantastic mix of products that will take you from breakfast to bedtime. Firstly, I was incredibly happy to see Belvita and Ryvita feature in this month's box. In our household these two brands are real staples in our cupboards and it was great to try out some new flavours. It was also fantastic to see some products that really add something to your meals and snacks. What I'm talking about here are the three jars included this month; there's a jar of Jim Jams chocolate hazelnut spread, Branston's fruit chutney and the Bourne & Wallis baby beetroots, respectively. I always find it really beneficial having items like these sitting in the cupboard as they so often come in handy when you're not sure what to have or are looking for a little snack. And whilst we're on the subject of snacking, the Nim's pineapple and mango fruit crisps are great for that and the Divine chocolate bar is just so delicious.
And who knew that there was such a thing as glitter jelly? I can't wait to make a batch of that this Christmas. You never know what to expect from Degustabox and seeing a packet emblazoned in glitter just made me smile and smile. Then there's the Gourmet Drops from Teisseire. I'd never heard of anything like these before either so they were a welcome addition. Essentially what you do with these is add a dash to any drink to completely transform it. And any Degustabox that includes a bottle, or two in this instance, of alcohol is always greatly appreciated in our household, partiuclarly in the run up to the party season. How adorable is the little bottle of Baileys? And the Rekorderlig dry apple cider is another big hit from them. And when I was talking about this particular box taking you from breakfast to bedtime, the inclusion of a tub of Cocoa powder is perfect for these cold Winter nights.
So what do you think of this month's box? Have you tried any of the products featured in November's box before? And have you tried Degustabox before?
