Sharing The Blog Love This August

I'm back and I'm sharing the blog love once more so here are some of my favourite blog posts from the month of August;

Things I Wish I Knew About Hair Loss (Before It Fell Out) - Having experienced hair loss myself (my hair started shedding at a pretty alarming rate as a result of stress and ill health) I know exactly how difficult this must have been for Lydia to write and publish and I respect her so much for doing so. Speaking to Lydia about my hair loss when it first started happening was incredibly comforting and hopefully this post will help others who are experiencing it too. Thankfully my doctor wasn't worried when I turned up at his door, practically in tears all those months ago and my hair naturally started to grow back at it's usual rate but I can completely empathise and understand just how upsetting it can be.

OUAT Wishlist - OUAT, or Once Upon A Time for those of you who haven't yet discovered the TV series, is a show where fairy-tales and stories from our childhoods are brought to life but in a contemporary setting. You kind of have to see it to understand what I'm on about really. And whilst I took a break from watching it about mid way through season three, Roisin's wishlist has certainly made me want to get back into it again and it's certainly reignited a bit of a crush on Colin O'Donoghue (aka. Hook). It's also made me want to find an excuse to wear the absolutely stunning princess gown featured in this wishlist.

How To Praise Yourself And Be Proud Of Your Blog - Well let's just say that Liza's post couldn't have come at a better time for me. Due to not feeling well over the past couple of months (and sadly I'm still not feeling much better at all) I've felt like I've been letting myself and my blog down and frankly not putting as much time or energy into it as I would normally do. After reading this post I just felt a whole lot better about me and my blog which is exactly what I needed. If you're feeling a bit meh about your blog or even the concept of blogging itself, then I would definitely give Liza's post a read.

Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette - Like I need any more convincing when it comes to purchasing make-up. Hehe. Ever since visiting Sephora or should I say every Sephora within a 50 mile radius of Orlando, Florida, last year, I've become a little obsessed with Too Faced. So far I've only tried their Better Than Sex mascara, which is amazing by the way but that hasn't stopped me having my eye on basically every product that they sell. Heather's review is fantastic and it really does make me want to indulge in at least one of the Too Faced palettes sooner rather than later.

My All-time Beauty Favourites - Whilst I'd never be able to commit to writing a monthly favourites post, mostly because I have a feeling that they would all be pretty similar, if not the exact same every month, Eilidh has come up with a great way of sharing her favourite products in this post. The products that have been included in this post are ones that she purchases time and time again. I just thought that that was such a fun idea for a post and I must say, I completely agree when it comes to Soap & Glory's Supercat Eyeliner.

What blogs and blog posts have you really enjoyed reading this month? Are there any blogs that you've discovered recently that you would like to share?
