This Has Been: December

December is always my favourite month of the year. I'm one of those people who gets excited for Christmas earlier and earlier every year and this year was no different. Despite having all of my Christmas presents bought and wrapped last month, I've spent most of December surrounding myself in festive cheer, which has meant quite a few trips to the shops and to the Christmas markets. And when I've not been out trying my best to soak up the Christmas atmosphere, I've been snuggled up at home with my big cosy dressing gown on, Christmas candles and fairy lights flickering in the background and a good movie on too.

I hope that everyone had a fantastic Christmas Day, however you spent it and that Santa was particularly kind to you this year! I'm looking forward to spending time with family, eating my own body weight in festive treats and watching more Christmas TV and movies than I really should in the next couple of days and then it will be 2015 before we know it. I'm still finding it hard to believe that in a couple of days time it will be a new year. Seriously, where has 2014 gone? Whatever you're doing for New Year's, I hope that you have a great time and I wish everyone all the very best for 2015!

  5. I have been absolutely obsessed with 1989 ever since I got it! I love singing along to it in the car with my friends (and we get quite crazy when "Blank Space" and "Shake it Off' come on). I have always wanted to try a Yankee candle :) xx

  6. December is my favourite month too, but it seemed to go so quickly this year that there didn't seem to be enough time to get properly festive. Hope you had a lovely Christmas :)
