Nails Inc Nail Polish Diary: March

Nails Inc Baker Street £11

March's nail polish is the best-selling Baker Street.

I was so excited to find this polish in my nail polish diary as it was one of those shades that I've been meaning to try for what feels like forever.

This polish has always had a lot of hype attached to it in my opinion. Remember when Beyonce reportedly wore it after the birth of Blue Ivy or when it was all over the blogosphere? Well now I completely understand why so many were raving about it all those months and even years ago. Whilst some of the shades in my nail diary fit their allocated month perfectly (I mean it's all about coral for spring/summer as we will see when it comes to next month's polish), I love that this shade of blue can be worn any month of the year. Is it worrying that as soon as I wrote shade of blue I instantly thought of Deeper Shade of Blue by Steps? I think that is probably a worry hehe.

To be safe I did apply two coats of this polish but I could easily have gotten away with just the one. This dries so glossy, with an almost patent effect and instantly reminded me of many gel nail polishes that I have tried, which is always a good thing.

Have you tried Baker Street before? If so, what do you think of it? Are you a fan of wearing shades of blue? (I really need to stop singing Deeper Shade of Blue and doing the dance routine! Why do I even still remember the dance routine?! Haha.)

    1. I love the names too! :) Imagine if you lived on one of the streets and you had the polish it was named after, now that would be good! Hehe.

  3. I love blue and purple polishes - easily my favourites! I haven't tried this but after reading about how good the finish of it is I might just have to. Maybe a job for the loyalty card points I've got stacked up?

  9. I'm going to have to check this out - it looks like the perfect blue for me! I haven't had much luck with blue in the past as they've just looked odd against my skin, but this one could be a real winner!

    1. Blue always looks a bit strange on me too because I'm so pale so any pale blues just make my hands look a little dead! Hehe. This on the other hand is so bright it really works and I think it would work on any skin tone really! :)

  14. Beautiful colour Ellis! I haven't bought any of the Nails Inc. polishes before but I'm pretty sure I've seen them in Sephora once or twice! Isn't it nice when the polish by itself is glossy - top coat free and all :)!

I have a ridiculous collection of Nails Inc (mostly due to my mums QVC habit) but I don't think I have that colour in my collection. It's lovely though, I'll have to try and track it down some time soon.
